(JACKSONVILLE) Nodarse & Associates, Inc. (N&A) is pleased to announce that Mr. Kenneth E. Hanson, Jr., P.E. has joined our firm as Deep Foundations Group Leader. 

Mr. Hanson, a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Florida, has over 11 years of geotechnical engineering and project experience. His experience includes project management, geotechnical investigations, dynamic testing and analysis of driven piles, deep and shallow foundation design, including analysis of geotechnical structures using computer modeling, supervision of drilled shaft construction, static load testing of piles and shafts, ground vibration monitoring, and building condition surveys. Projects have ranged from roadways and commercial structures to large bridges. He has performed dynamic load testing using a PDA (Pile Driving Analyzer) on approximately 400 precast concrete, steel, and timber piles. Results of the testing were used in conjunction with CAPWAP and wave equation software to develop production pile lengths and driving criteria for numerous projects.  His responsibilities at N&A include the management, coordination, and completion of all PDA testing services statewide.

Mr. Hanson is a 1995 graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering and a Masters Degree in Geotechnical Engineering.
