(ORLANDO) – Nodarse & Associates, Inc. (N&A) is currently providing consulting services for multiple projects that are shaping and will shape the future of southeast Orlando. The most prominent of these projects include UCF’s Burnett College of Biomedical Sciences, UCF’s College of Medicine, a new veterans’ hospital complex for the Department of Veterans Affairs and an interchange at “Innovation Way” that will provide additional access to this area.
N&A and its key personnel have long-standing experience with this area’s unique soils and high groundwater conditions dating back to the mid-eighties with original portions of Lake Nona, a continuing role at the Orlando International Airport, and many of the area’s other prominent mixed use communities.
• The firm provided geotechnical engineering and is currently providing construction materials testing services for the Biomedical Sciences facility designed by HOK and being constructed by Whiting-Turner Contracting Company.
• It is providing geotechnical engineering for HuntonBrady Architects on the 168,000 S.F. College of Medicine.
• N&A has provided due diligence geotechnical and environmental consulting for RLF, Inc. and Ellerbe Beckett for three prospective sites for the new Veterans Hospital complex, including two in Lake Nona.
• For WBQ Design & Engineering and the Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority, N&A is providing geotechnical engineering and drainage evaluation associated with this new interchange, toll plaza and associated access ramps at “Innovation Way” on the Beachline.
